This platform came into existence by Sophie Karnes who’s an experienced interior designer, sharing her years of experience of transforming homes and bringing them to life. After working on various projects, she has helped many homeowners, to help them bring the best out of their living spaces.
Sophie Karnes started this platform to share her stories and ideas from her interior designing career. She decided to go with “Karnes” because, to her, this word meant carving something out, like how with carving, a simple log of wood can turn into something beautiful. It all comes down to the person who is able to see the beauty in it and what they do to bring it out. Sophie believes that our homes are more than just walls or furniture items.
Karnes Interior is all about helping you create spaces that are curated thoughtfully, where every detail, every corner, serves a purpose. Her approach is pretty straightforward, its combination of creativeness, functionality, and attention to details, to make every space livable and charming.

Karnes Interior started as a blog but now it’s run by a team of creative interior designers, builders, and people who share interests as you when it comes to styling their interior spaces. Following what our founder loves to do, which is providing tricks and hacks that have a perfect blend of functionality and aesthetics.
And she focuses on paying attention to what her clients want and she does that by listening to their stories, understanding where they are facing issues, and how those issues can be resolved. She doesn’t just apply the same ideas and tricks to her clients, she guides them properly by actually giving time in understanding them.
Our team strives to follow what Sophie does for her clients, which is providing actionable ideas that can help them balance comfort with aesthetics. And our philosophy is pretty simple which is, if great design should feel timeless.
